
If you want to do this, let me know and I can try to figure out which layers I would recommend. Some of the outer blocks that might go above sea level could potentially use stairs instead of planks. The space above the front quarters could use some fences to keep the player from inadvertently falling off. The sails could potentially be puffed out in the center a little more to simulate a stronger wind.

However, I've seen plenty of ships that build that way so if you're not supposed to see the ocean on those sides, then no worries. Couldn't really get a view over the ship. The main deck's railing felt too high on the port and starboard sides, at least in my opinion. The slab/stair angle/height issue that we'd discussed in depth but couldn't figure out a solution to I left a few notes there that you responded partially to.
